Established in 1969, Watcon soon gained an exemplary reputation for its high-quality roofing and its innovative approach to the waterproofing marker. Planned expansion with the same degree of attention to detail and recognition of the needs of the market, saw the addition of the highly successful Painting and Renovations Division six years later, followed at the turn of the century with the formation of the Interior Decorating Division.
This latter development was almost directly as a result of satisfied clients almost insisting on Watcon undertaking the complete renovation of their buildings, knowing that the work would be carried out with integrity, quality workmanship, minimum fuss and at the right price. The fact that each division now has an extraordinary number of repeat orders and referrals from satisfied clients, including many large nationally and internationally known corporations -is a living testimony to the quality of workmanship and levels of customer care that are an integral part of the service provided by the Watcon Group, which can be described as being second to none – and better than most.
Painting and Renovations
Formed in 1975, the Watcon Painting and Renovation Division has specialised applicators and experienced project management to undertake any renovation or painting project on a turnkey basis. This division can handle the complete refurbishment of any building to provide an attractive new appearance both externally and internally.
Waterproofing
With well over 30 years of experience and customer satisfaction in the waterproofing business, the Watcon Waterproofing Division has the expertise and skilled artisans required to tackle any roofing and waterproofing contract -large or small -including pitched and flat roofs, parking decks and a selection of attractive roof finishes.
Interior Design
The highly competent Interior Decorating Division of Watcon. established in 1999, has trained staff and expert management to enable any interior decorating or refurbishment programme to be carried out, including the installation of all types of ceilings, Boardwall and other drywall systems. wallpapering, flooring, carpeting, plastering and painting. All available as single contracts or entrusted to Watcon as a turnkey project.
Thuba-Aga Renovations was former and registered to enable the previously disadvantaged staff members of Watcon to progress both technically and commercially in the industry. The key to this success has been “hands-on” type management, training, and promotion from within, and a Quality Management Plan ensuring end user satisfaction, together with company profitability maintenance through efficient cost control and achievement of contract completion dates.
